I write very well, am highly educated, successful, and gave it all up years ago. I do not know yet what to say about Substack, but I shall try.
Many of the contributions contradict my beliefs (they are in fact only that), and they make sense to that part of me that often goes unexpressed, hidden, and subsumed by the mantra of success and freedom that has lifted me out of poverty.
I do not know whether to fear and run, or love and embrace.
